Dora is the first Lancashire Heeler to get to the semi finals of the Junior Warrant competition! 19.8.2015: A very wet and cold day at Gillingham & Shaftesbury Open Show but Dora was Best of Breed in the AVNSC Pastoral and then won Group 4 under judge Lynne Scott. Wow, Dora and Boris did a double act and took the top places at the Lancashire Heeler Association Show on 19 April 2015 under judge Ms Toni Jackson. Dora narrowly beat her brother to Best of Breed, and Boris was Reserve Best of Breed. A great day out although a long drive – but certainly worth it in the end!
Well it was a wonderful first year for Dora, Madincrowd Bathsheba – she was the Lancashire Heeler Club Top Puppy 2014 and on 23 November 2014 she was awarded a Junior Warrant – we couldn’t have asked for more and are so proud of her.
Dora gets her first Reserve Challenge Certificates at Driffield and SWKA Championship Shows 2014 A great holiday was topped off by Dora getting her first RCC at Driffield (and also Best Puppy) under judge Kevin Young, then at South Wales KA under judge Robin Newhouse
Dora’s first caravan trip – bit of a squeeze at times with three dogs in a small caravan but we got it sorted, and bought a good sized pen for outside, although Dora was the only one who could vault over the top of it and escape! Lovely, deserted, sandy beaches
Bilbo got his third Challenge Certificate under Anne Arch at City of Birmingham Champ Show on 30 August 2014 and becomes a Champion – we always believed in him and were over the moon – our first ever show dog and he gets this far with us novices, so it just goes to prove that anyone with faith can do it! To top it all, Pickle got the Reserve CC and Dora came 2nd in PB.
Thrilled with Dora who went Best of Breed and Best Puppy at the Bournemouth Champ Show today, 10.8.2014, with Uncle Bilbo getting the Reserve Best Dog. Poor little soul was exhausted by the end of a long hot day and was flagging by the time she had to be rushed from one Group to another, spending most of the time lying down and refusing to get up! 10 May 2014 – Dora completed her first Good Citizens Puppy Course with Paws in Hand and was presented with a rosette which she decided was exceedingly tasty! The last session we were asked to get our puppies to sit and wait for at least 10 seconds but Dora was the exception and we were asked to try and sit still for 1-2 seconds! She has made her mark!!
