Well Done Boris!

Boris, Madincrowd Gabriel, has done it again!  He was Best of Breed at the National Working & Pastoral Breed Championship Show which took place at Malvern on Saturday 13 July 2019. By winning at this show, Boris has qualified to represent Lancashire Heelers in the Vulnerable Native Breeds Competition  which takes place at Crufts 2020. We are all so proud of him and thank you to Lynn for showing him so beautifully – we will […]

Dora does Bournemouth!

Dora, Madincrowd Bathsheba JW, was Best of Breed at the Bournemouth Champ Show in August 2016, under judge Celia Vines. There was a good turn out and a party atmosphere round the ring – with some of us coming back to Pear Tree Cottage for a cream tea!

Boris becomes a Champion – September 2016

We are so proud to announce that Boris, Madincrowd Gabriel JW (aka Flash Harry in his younger days!) became the first Madincrowd Champion – subject to Kennel Club confirmation. Dora is Junior Warrant Qualifier and BOB at Gillingham & Shaftesbury Show

19.8.2015:  A very wet and cold day at Gillingham & Shaftesbury Open Show but Dora was Best of Breed in the AVNSC Pastoral and then won Group 4 under judge Lynne Scott.  After waiting until the bitter end for the Junior Warrant Qualifier Competition, Dora was one of the five picked to go forward to the Semi Finals at Discover Dogs in London – the first Heeler to have done so we believe!  Our grateful thanks to Lynne […]

Dora goes Best of Breed at Bournemouth Champ Show 2014

Thrilled with Dora who went Best of Breed and Best Puppy at the Bournemouth Champ Show today, 10.8.2014, with Uncle Bilbo getting the Reserve Best Dog.  Poor little soul was exhausted by the end of a long hot day and was flagging by the time she had to be rushed from one Group to another, spending most of the time lying down and refusing to get up!  Hey ho, that’s our Dora! We had the […]

Dorset County Open Show

Great day at the show in Dorset County Open Show in Dorchester on 27 July 2014 with Bilbo beating a range of fluffies to go Best of Breed AVNSC Pastoral  and then topped it by getting G2 under judge Mr J Thomas!  Very proud of our boy.

Lancashire Heeler Club Open Show

Had a lovely weekend, flying the Heeler flag at South West Working & Pastoral Breed Association Open Show in Weston-super-Mare with Bilbo where he was Best of Breed, then travelling on to Bristol to spend the night with Lynn & Charlie, Mouse, Ouzo and Boris (previously known as Flash Harry!).  Boris remembered us and was so pleased to play with Bilbo and jump all over me, whilst Mouse was rather upset that I hadn’t brought […]
