We are thrilled to announce that we will be keeping one of Dora‘s puppies – Toby, aka Madincrowd Edred. He is a delightful little dog and is already getting the hang of charging through the tunnel in the garden.  Puppy agility has started and he will do anything to get hold of his sheepskin tuggy!

We are so happy to announce that Mouse, Foxthyme Maori, is Our Dogs‘ Lancashire Heeler Top Stud 2018. He is a very handsome chap with a jaunty step and together with our Pickle, Ch Rosepip Neteret Eset, has given us three amazing litters. 2018 was a stunning year for Madincrowd and Mouse’s Madincrowd offspring helped earn him his title: Dora, Madincrowd Bathsheba JW, winning her first Challenge Certificate at Crufts, and then a second at Paignton Champ Show; Katy, Madincrowd Mercy Chant, winning her first Challenge Certificate as a puppy at the Welsh Kennel Club Champ Show, and taking Reserve […]

So, here is the finished portrait which has just gone off to be framed – we think it has caught Dora’s look exactly as she often sits like this in the sunshine, watching the world go by, but with an eye out for mischief and […]

Thame Game Fair 2018

Weather forecast for the Thame Game Fair over the Easter Bank holiday weekend was not good, but after a ground check on Saturday it was all on for Sunday.  Rather than take the caravan and get stuck in mud – or snow – we got up early Sunday morning to set up first thing.  It was very chilly but the weather was dry and all the activities were able to take place, it was very busy possibly because no one wanted to risk coming on Easter Monday which was wise as the Show had to be cancelled that day due […]

Pickle’s Portrait

Posted Posted in Our Dogs

What to get Stephen for his BIG Birthday?  Racked brains and decided a portrait of Pickle would be ideal so after a trip to Dogs in Art Gallery in Stockbrige he chose Marc Mitchard to paint her portrait.  Marc was amazing and put so much thought and effort into getting the right pose, he has made several visits to take photos and check colours and at last the portrait is complete.  We are thrilled to bits!
